The city plans to issue over 2 million metro cards during the initial phase, with an estimated daily ridership of nearly 40,000 passengers.

Notably, during the first 30 days of commercial operations, passengers using Metro Line 1 and its 17 connected bus routes will enjoy free rides to encourage residents to familiarize themselves with the city’s first metro service.
